Auditions for "He Done Her Wrong, or Wedded But No Wife!"
          An Old-Fashioned Melodrama in One Act

What to bring/prepare:
          Please bring a theatre resume and headshot, if you have one.
          Please prepare a 1-2 minute comedic monologue. We will also be doing cold reading from the script.
          Wear comfortable clothing and be prepared to do some simple movement exercises.

Cast:
2 Men (ages 18-25 and 30-40)
4 Women (ages 18-30 and 50-60)

Summary:
He Done Her Wrong, or Wedded But No Wife!" is an uproarious saga of our pure but persecuted heroine, Hyacinth Haven, who falls into the clutches of that heavily-moustached monster, Fleetwood Dashaway, and is rescued in the nick of time by our hero, Fitzjohn Oliphant! Through all of this, can Hyacinth retain her position in the Moneycracker mansion? Can she prevent the foul Dashaway scoundrel from getting the immense Moneycracker fortune by marrying Mrs. Moneycracker’s innocent daughter, Alvina? You will have to come find out!

Rehearsals for "He Done Her Wrong, or Wedded But No Wife!" will be Saturdays and Sunday afternoons, and a couple Monday evenings beginning January 11, 2009.

Performances will be one weekend only, March 20-22, 2009. Friday & Saturday 7:30 p.m. and Sunday 2 p.m. matinee.
